Conference Venue
For the impatient: All the important locations in Google Maps
ICT Building, the venue for the conference, is located in the Turku Science Park district. Located near the universities the Venue is within 20 minute walk from the city centre.
The address is ICT Building, Joukahaisenkatu 3-5, 20520 Turku.
The ICT Building can be easily reached with taxi and buses (lines 32 and 42). If you're arriving from Helsinki by train, Kupittaa railway station is located right next to the ICT Building. If you're arriving with your own car there's plenty of affordable parking space around ICT building. A full day parking is about 5 euros and it can be paid with credit card!
For Thursday's conference dinner we have organized transportation with buses from the conference venue to the Restaurant Daphne.
Practical issues
- Wifi
- You can get an account for SparkNET, a wifi network covering most of the university campus and downtown Turku, from information desk when you sign up. The account is valid for the both days
- Smoking
- Smoking isn't allowed indoors, but there's a smoking area just opposite of the information desk
